Mitch was baptized into the church of Christ in 1995. He and his family made Valley Parkway their home congregation in 2011. Mitch currently serves as a Deacon.

Mitch grew up in New Braunfels, Texas and graduated from Canyon High School. He went on to pursue a degree in Business Project Management. Mitch currently works for Austin Industries. Mitch married his wife Kari in 2002. They have been blessed with five children: Krista, Isaiah, Kaylie, Kendra, and Kami.
